that SoCal Beaches Magazine did a free video of the
restaurant as a “public service” for anyone in the area
or visiting the area that may not have been there yet!
Locals in the area know this as the place right by the beach and right off the pier in Manhattan Beach, the heart of the beach area. Owner Bobby Escowitz is a New Yorker who saw a need for great pizza in the area and with his sister and help from family purchased the restaurant and then went back to the Bronx New York to get the secret “thin crust” pizza recipes that make this place awesome.
Manhattan Pizzeria has the best fresh salads - the large house salad with house dressing!
I always go in and get a large salad and if I had eaten breakfast I may stop there but the pizza is so delicious that I am easily able to eat a slice to go with it. The pizza can be done as you like but I like it a bit on the crispy and crunchy side and that is how the cheese slices roll out with a super thin crust – so thin that the layer of cheese is actually thicker than the crispy crust.
